The flowering apple tree, or ornamental apple tree, is best planted in autumn like most trees.

This helps promote a good rooting before winter and therefore a better recovery when the good weather arrives.

In early spring, appear pink to carmine red buds on the ornamental apple tree.

They change color to shades of pure white, pink and red during flowering.
