Tender and fragrant poultry and a delicious dish to enjoy in fall and winter, here is the chicken casserole with hot cider.
Ingredients for 4 persons :
- 1 free-range chicken cut into 8 pieces
- 500 g ofonions
- 30 cl of raw cider
- 1 pinch of allspice
- 2 tbsp. oil soup
- 50 g butter
- 2 tbsp. tablespoon of coriander chiseled
- Salt pepper
Cider chicken casserole recipe
Peel and finely slice the onions.
Heat half the butter and a spoonful of oil in a casserole dish.
Cook the onions over low heat, stirring for 10 min, so that they are transparent without being colored.
In a frying pan, heat the remaining oil and butter, sear the chicken pieces over high heat on all sides, until golden brown.
Put the drained chicken pieces in the casserole dish, wet with the cider, salt and pepper, add the allspice and mix.
Cover the casserole dish and cook for 30 minutes over low heat. Serve very hot, sprinkled with coriander, accompanied by couscous seeds or basmati rice.
